APC 2027 CAMPAIGNS

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has called for an investigation into the reported deduction of Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) funds for President Bola Tinubu's reelection.

According to Adeyanju, such a measure would be a violation of the country's constitution and could be considered one of the greatest crimes against Nigeria. He has charged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) to probe the alleged deduction.

The use of public funds for personal political ambitions is a sensitive topic, and this development has sparked concerns about the potential implications for the country's democratic process. It is essential to examine the facts surrounding this issue and ensure that the rule of law is upheld. The EFCC and ICPC have a critical role to play in investigating this matter and providing clarity on the allegations.

As the situation unfolds, it will be interesting to see how the relevant authorities respond to Adeyanju's call for action.
